How I Started
In 1966 my first grade teacher took my “Sammy Davis Jr.,” paper plate man with accordion arms and legs, walked to the front of the class and had everyone take a look at the craftsmanship, the coloring technique and how detailed the happy face was designed. By the time high school rolled around, I was drawing 3 to 4 hours a day. I rode my bike house to house and sold hand made cards to raise money for art supplies – I was hooked.
IN 1984 the first Mac rolled offline, I was instantly fascinated. I enjoyed the technical aspect of the computer and it provided another medium for art. So when time came to choose my career path, it only seemed natural to mix the two and in 2001 I become a Web Designer.
What I’m Up To
I had a small advertising and website design firm for the past 10 years. The recent economy is trying to say the least, so I started doing contract and freelance work since 2008.
As a contract Web Designer I do projects for clients that range from ad agencies, large corporations, financial companies, healthcare and retail. I have over 10 years of agency experience and 15 years freelancing. I am currently available for freelance, consulting, or agency support as a Web / Interactive Designer but open to other opportunities, just let me know.
Why Hire Me
I make WordPress websites that are typographically clean and work across major browsers but my true gift is to reveal and create opportunities for driving business to my clients. I do this by getting to know their business in and out and applying my online knowledge and experience to improving their bottom line. In the end, I deliver results, not files.
My success relies heavily on my clients success, so every project must meet high standards to achieve the desired results. While following those high standards I have achieved a proven track record for creating results which can include increasing: leads, product sales, traffic, repeat customers or email subscriptions.
If you want to improve your online strategy or want a new website, feel free to get in touch.
